Teignmouth’s beach stretches from the mouth of the River Teign down towards Holcombe. It is a long sandy beach, which allows lots of room for families to picnic so no need to worry about it being over crowded. Overlooking the entire beach is an impressive Victorian Pier which has stood strong since 1865. With golden sands, blue skies, the Grand Pier, fishermen working and lots of delicious ice cream you will feel like you are a child again.
Teignmouth Pier first opened in 1867 and has been a prominent feature on the Teignmouth seafront ever since.
On the pier, you will find lots of arcade games and amusements, as well as fairground rides a certain times of the year.
